Discover Wyoming County's history! The office of county historian has been in existence since 1947. Housed in an 1840s home, our office has over 10,000 family files, cemetery records, copies of military pension files for Revolutionary, 1812, and Civil Wars to help you trace your family history. If you are researching places of days gone by we have photographs, historic county maps, files on every town in the county containing information on various businesses, industries, churches, schools and organizations.
The historian's office is open Monday - Friday, 9am - 3:30pm and every 3rd Saturday of the month from 10am - 2pm.
