From October 11-13th from 6pm-9pm, enjoy an evening walk through our magical woods to meet the nocturnal animals of Beaver Meadow!
Imagine walking down a woodland path at night. The trail is lined with glowing jack-o’-lanterns. As you round a bend in the trail, you hear a friendly, “hello!” and before you stands a smiling opossum, eager to tell you all about her life in the forests of the Beaver Meadow Audubon Center: Welcome to the Enchanted Forest!
The Enchanted Forest is a nighttime visit with the animals who call our preserve home. You will be led along pumpkin-lit paths, stopping at stations where an animal awaits to tell you all about its life. The animals are portrayed by costumed interpreters, and they are all very friendly. Keep in mind that the Enchanted Forest is an educational program for all ages! When the walk is finished each group will be treated to cider and a snack!
Tickets are required and cost varies by age of attendee - tickets can be purchased by calling Beaver Meadow at 585-457-3228.
